Leverkusen remains the sole undefeated team across all competitions in Europe’s top five leagues this season, boasting 11 wins and two draws in 13 Bundesliga games. In total, they have won 18 and drawn two out of their 20 games this campaign, with Bayern and Dortmund being the only teams to take a point off them.

Following the draw with Dortmund, Leverkusen now leads the Bundesliga table with 35 points, just three ahead of Bayern Munich. The match saw Dortmund take an early lead through Julian Ryerson in the 5th minute, but Boniface equalized for Leverkusen in the 79th minute.

Nathan Tella, on the other hand, did not make an appearance in the game against Dortmund; he remained an unused substitute.
