FRSC Strengthens Road Safety in Kaduna with 9 New Unit Commands, State-of-the-Art Sector Command Office

Dauda Ali Biu, Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), announced the establishment of nine more Unit commanders in Kaduna State in a significant move to improve road safety measures. This improvement intends to strengthen the agency’s capacity in saving lives and preventing traffic accidents throughout the state.

The announcement came during the commissioning of the new FRSC Kaduna Sector Command Office Complex in Kaduna. Biu expressed gratitude to the state government for allocating prime lands for the construction of both the sector command and zonal command offices. According to Biu, these strategic locations have contributed to creating a conducive working environment for the dedicated workforce.

Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, lauded the unwavering efforts, professionalism, and commitment of the FRSC officers and personnel in their mission to save lives and ensure road safety. Balarabe emphasized the crucial role played by the FRSC as a key partner in the state government’s commitment to enhancing road safety in Kaduna. She regarded the inauguration of the sector command office as a testament to the strong collaboration between the FRSC and the state government.

Reiterating the administration’s recognition of the importance of collaborative efforts, Balarabe, on behalf of Governor Uba Sani, assured continued support for the FRSC in Kaduna. The government remains steadfast in providing the necessary backing to strengthen the corps’ operations, ensuring safer roads for the residents of Kaduna.

In a related development, the FRSC issued a warning to all motorists, urging vigilance and caution, especially with the year drawing to a close.
