In Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League clash, Samuel Chukwueze notched his first goal for AC Milan, but the Rooseneri faced a 3-1 home defeat against Borussia.
Olivier Giroud missed an opportunity to put the hosts in the lead as he was unsuccessful in converting a penalty in the sixth minute. Just four minutes later, Borussia Dortmund received a penalty of their own, duly converted by Marco Reus.
Chukwueze brought AC Milan level eight minutes before halftime. The 24-year-old, receiving a pass from Davide Calabria inside the box, skillfully maneuvered past two defenders and slotted the ball into the net.
However, Dortmund secured the victory with goals from Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and substitute Karim Adeyemi in the second half.
