Former Big Brother Naija participant, Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, recently opened up about her decision to abstain from participating in the All-Star edition of the reality show. The primary factor influencing her choice was the romantic involvement of her ex-boyfriend Neo with Tolani Baj.
Speaking on the Moni Talks podcast, Vee shared her earlier suspicions about Neo’s connection with Tolani during their relationship. Despite Neo dismissing her concerns as paranoia back then, Vee felt validated after witnessing their interactions on the All-Star edition of Big Brother Naija.
Expressing her sentiments, Vee stated, “Now that we’ve watched Big Brother Naija All Stars, I feel vindicated. I wouldn’t call it vindication. I would call it more of people seeing that there is always gonna be a bigger picture. No matter what you think you see, there is something underneath the situation that you don’t know about. Them [Neo and Tolani Baj] going on that show, obviously, brought it out. And that is the reason I did not go on the show.”
Vee also expressed regret over continuing her relationship with Neo after the conclusion of the Big Brother Naija ‘Lockdown’ show in 2020. She shared, “In my honest opinion, it would have been better if we went our separate ways after the house.”
