Nigerian rapper Idowest has taken aim at his former record label boss, Dammy Krane, accusing him of signing him without offering any financial support or accommodation. Idowest expressed his frustration with the absence of resources and assistance, highlighting the challenges he faced while pursuing his music career.

He gave this insight amidst growing concern for the welfare of artists, especially following the recent deaths of Oladips and MohBad, prompting more artists to share their struggles in the industry.

Dammy Krane has found himself embroiled in controversies before. His public clash with Davido, in which he claimed Davido owed him money, attracted widespread attention. The disagreement escalated into an online quarrel, with attempts to involve Big Brother Naija’s Phyna in the situation. Despite the attempts, Phyna made it clear that she wanted no part in the dispute and emphasized that it was not her concern.
