The Lagos State Police Command has successfully arrested a suspected robber named Ali on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, as revealed in an official statement by the Command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Wednesday.
Investigations have unveiled that the suspect, using the guise of a beggar in the Ikate area of Lekki, perpetrated criminal activities, particularly targeting motorists. Employing threats of violence, Ali allegedly robbed unsuspecting individuals of cash and valuables.
Benjamin Hundeyin stated, “The suspect will be arraigned upon the conclusion of the ongoing investigation.”
