Ademola Lookman, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, and Bright Osayi-Samuel have landed in Uyo for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe. The quartet touched down at the Victor Attah International Airport on Tuesday morning, warmly greeted by officials from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). With their arrival, the player count in the camp has now reached 10.
Defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Jamilu Collins as well as Umar Sadiq were the early arrivals in camp on Monday. The trio were later joined in camp by Francis Uzoho, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ojo Olorunleke.
Free-scoring Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, and three other players are still set to join the Super Eagles in Abuja.
More players are still being expected in camp.
Jose Peseiro’s side will hold their first training session later tonight at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. The Super Eagles will entertain the Likuena at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Thursday.
