In the aftermath of the just-concluded governorship election in Imo State, Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has extended hearty congratulations to Governor Hope Uzodimma for securing victory in the polls held on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
The Returning Officer for the election, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, officially declared Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner with a total of 540,308 votes, defeating his closest rival, Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who garnered 71,503 votes.
In a press statement issued by Soludo’s Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the Anambra Governor not only congratulated Uzodimma on his triumph but also encouraged him to exhibit benevolence in victory by extending a hand of fellowship to his co-contenders.
