MTN is trying to improve its customer relations by clearing airtime and data balance outstanding, MTN Nigeria is showing its customers and potential customers that it is committed to helping them succeed.
Another possibility is that MTN Nigeria is trying to boost its public image. By clearing your debt, MTN Nigeria is demonstrating its corporate social responsibility and its commitment to the Nigerian people. More so, it is also possible that MTN Nigeria is simply trying to do the right thing. Clearing customer’s debt can help to reduce poverty and improve the lives of many Nigerians.
However, we hope that this kind gesture will have no sinister motive than to further strengthen the relationship MTN and its customers.
