The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has issued a stern warning to Nigerians, urging them to be cautious and ignore messages offering free registration of business names and companies. The CAC emphasized that such messages are not genuine and do not originate from their organization.

The Nigerian Companies Registry took to X (formerly Twitter) to share this important message, stating, “Please, disregard any SMS or WhatsApp message asking you to enroll for free CAC registration, as it is not from us! Thank you.”

In other developments, the Registrar General/CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji (SAN), recently conducted an official visit to the Lagos office of the CAC. During his visit, he engaged with the staff, attentively listening to their concerns, challenges, and suggestions. He assured the staff that their feedback would be addressed promptly, with the aim of enhancing overall productivity.

The Registrar-General emphasized the significance of his visit, stating that it provided him with a firsthand understanding of the challenges and experiences of the staff, enabling him to offer immediate solutions wherever possible. The CAC is committed to improving its services and maintaining the integrity of its registration processes.
