The Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (P-CNGi) triumphantly launched yet another transformational CNG Conversion Centre today, amidst the dynamic ambiance of Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja. This historic occasion represents a significant step toward a cleaner, more sustainable, and economically viable future.
Present at the event were the Steering Committee Members of the PCNGI, Management and staff of the host institution – the Nigeria Institute of Transport Technology (NITT) and other important government dignitaries. The Minister of Transportation who sent his representative was the special guest of honour.
The opening of this PCNGi-affiliated Conversion Centre is more than just the introduction of cutting-edge technology; it reflects a fundamental transformation in Nigerian’s attitude, habits, and shared responsibility for our environment and economy. The conversion of PMS vehicles to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Bi-Fuel at this center represents a significant shift in our approach to the future. It is more than just a fuel change; it is an intentional decision to embrace cleaner, more economical energy solutions.
In a world where our environment is in desperate need of help and climate change is an irrefutable truth, our commitment -demonstrated by the launching of the PCNGI affiliated CNG Conversion Center in Abuja-to adopting CNG technology is not only laudable; it is critical. It exemplifies the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the vision of his administration’s commitment to being responsible stewards of our world and economic resources.
The PCNGI is pleased to be part of history making as Nigeria makes this giant stride towards cheaper, cleaner, safer and more reliable fuel for transportation.
