Oil Theft : Navy Uncovered Two Punctured Points on The Pipeline of NNPCL in Lagos

The Nigerian Navy Ship Beecroft has uncovered two punctured points on the pipeline of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) in Lagos State’s Atlas Cove and Ijegun areas, which were being exploited by saboteurs for the theft of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

These points posed a significant threat to the nation’s petroleum products and its economic well-being.

The NNS Beecroft patrol team, in collaboration with Operation Awatse, made this discovery on 1st November 2023 based on credible human intelligence and promptly alerted NNPCL for immediate repairs and ongoing efforts to prevent future illicit activities along the pipeline.
