The Rivers State House of Assembly chamber has been allegedly deliberately set ablaze, heightening the tension surrounding the purported plot to impeach Governor Siminilayi Fubara Fubara.
Reports indicate that the arsonist gained access to the chamber on Sunday night, igniting a destructive fire within its confines. Fortunately, the prompt response of the local fire service prevented the flames from engulfing the entire Assembly complex.
