This gathering is part of INEC’s comprehensive stakeholder engagement in preparation for the upcoming off-cycle governorship elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo States.

The primary purpose of this meeting is for INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu to provide the political parties with a detailed overview of the election preparations and to delineate the roles and responsibilities of political parties in the forthcoming elections.

Moreover, the event serves as an open platform for political parties to express their concerns and share any observations they may have in anticipation of the electoral process, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment in the lead-up to the off-cycle governorship elections.
