The actor turned politician Tonto Dikeh has bid farewell to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and officially embraced the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
To mark this change, the actress is set to receive a formal introduction to the APC at an event scheduled to take place at the national secretariat in Abuja today at 3pm.
Tonto Dikeh’s introduction to the APC will be led by the APC National Women Leader, Mary Alile, as reported by The Nation.
Dikeh, who previously held the position of deputy governorship candidate for the ADC in the Rivers State 2023 elections, has yet to issue an official statement elucidating the reasons behind her decision to switch her political affiliation.
