At an event in Abuja, the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu, emphasized the critical need for assistance from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to address these pressing economic issues.
Minister Bagudu acknowledged the complexity of the current financial landscape, stating that there is a scarcity of funds, and the government is primarily focusing on managing salary payments. The slow economic growth rate combined with rapid population growth and increasing unemployment has placed considerable strain on the nation, exacerbated by elevated inflation levels.
