Eseme Eyiboh, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Senate President, has responded to the claims made by former Senator Elisha Abbo following the nullification of his election by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
Eyiboh described Abbo’s allegations as uninformed and uncharitable.
The Court of Appeal recently nullified the election of Senator Elisha Abbo, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, declaring the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Amos Yohanna, as the rightful winner of the February 25 senatorial election.
In response to this judgment, Senator Abbo held a press briefing at his residence in Abuja, where he claimed that Senator Godswill Akpabio had a hand in the unfavorable court decision against him.
Eseme Eyiboh, in a statement provided to Persecondnews, expressed his disappointment with Abbo’s accusations. He emphasized that it is inappropriate for Senator Abbo to vent his frustrations on Senator Akpabio or any other individual. Eyiboh further stated that Senator Abbo’s actions reveal his bitterness towards Senator Akpabio.
