Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), boldly declared that Nasarawa State firmly belongs to the ruling party.
He made this statement during his address to party supporters at a reception held in honor of Nasarawa APC Chairman, Hon. Aliyu Bello, in the state capital, Lafia.
Ganduje went on to express his unwavering commitment to protecting the electoral mandate of Abdullahi Sule, Nasarawa State’s Governor.
He affirmed, “We have won the election, and we shall protect our mandate. There is no doubt about it. Nasarawa State belongs to APC, and APC belongs to Nasarawa State. We are in charge, and we will continue to be in charge by the grace of God.”
The declaration comes in the wake of the Nasarawa State Election Petition Tribunal’s recent decision to declare David Ombugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the rightful winner of the election.
