Lagos Taskforce Dismantles Criminal Hideout, Arrests 15 Suspects

The Lagos State Water and Environmental Resources Taskforce successfully completed an operation on October 5, 2023, as part of a proactive effort to improve security and purge the metropolis of criminal elements.

 

During this operation, a prominent criminal hideaway was destroyed, leading in the arrest of 15 criminals.

 

Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner of Water and Environmental Resources for Lagos State, released information of this momentous operation on his official social media profile, along with captivating photographs documenting the occasion.

 

Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab led the operation, which targeted structures that had marred the expressway at Orchid Junction, Eleganza Bus Stop, along the Lekki Expressway in Lagos. Notably, this area had also been utilized as a hideout by criminal elements in the Ikota vicinity.

 

The successful dismantling of this criminal hideout represents a significant step in the ongoing efforts to maintain law and order within Lagos State.
