The Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, had the privilege of welcoming the remarkable gymnast, Stephanie Ogechukwu Onusiriuka, to his office in Abuja this Tuesday. The meeting followed Stephanie’s stellar performance at the recently concluded National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State, where the 13-year-old prodigy clinched an astonishing four gold medals in gymnastics.
Stephanie Onusiriuka’s extraordinary accomplishments have set a new standard in gymnastics, highlighting her immense potential in the sport. The Honourable Senator Enoh extended his heartfelt congratulations to Stephanie, acknowledging her outstanding achievements and promising to closely monitor her development.

Her exceptional performance extends beyond the National Youth Games. At the previous National Sports Festival in Edo 2020, Stephanie earned one gold, two silver medals, and a bronze medal. Additionally, she claimed a gold medal at the African Club Championship in Pretoria in both 2019 and 2022.
