The recent arrest of Nigerian artist Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, aroused outrage on social media and in the entertainment business. The authorities arrested the controversial artist, and the news rapidly became a hot topic of conversation among fans, fellow artists, and the general public.
Recall that on the 3rd of October 2023, Naira Marley arrived in Lagos Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation.
He said it is good to do his part for IMOLE(MOHBAD) and he will be meeting with the police, with hope for the truth to he uncovered for justice to prevail.
Lagos Police spokesperson SP Benjamin Hundeyin said Naira Marley was taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities.
Unsurprisingly, Naira Marley’s fans, who refer to themselves as the “Marlians,” swiftly took to social media to express their support and concern for their beloved artist.
Many fans argued that Naira Marley’s music resonates with a generation that feels marginalized and misunderstood, and they see him as a voice for the streets.

@Theverydarkman said as of now there is no evidence online about naira marley physically bullying or touching Mohbad , and there is only one video where Mohbad said if anything happens to him they should hold nairamarley responsible. He also said if nairamarley’s lawyer is good everything will go smoothly .He said this is the time we need eye witnesses , he also called out some names saying this people said the knew something about his bullying. @theverydarkman said he want the real people that did Mohbad something to be caught
