Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has expressed his rejection of the recent judgment delivered by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Lafia.
The Governor made this declaration while addressing a gathering of enthusiastic APC supporters at the Government House in Lafia. He asserted that the judgment would be challenged through the appellate process.
Despite his disappointment with the tribunal’s ruling, Governor Sule urged the people of Nasarawa State to maintain a state of calm and uphold the rule of law. He emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence and respect for legal processes in times of disagreement.
In his address, Engr. Sule reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities as the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State with renewed determination. He vowed to continue serving the state with dedication and vigor, regardless of the ongoing legal proceedings.
