Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has expressed unwavering confidence in the party’s ability to secure victory in the upcoming November 11 governorship election in Bayelsa. He urged party members to collaborate harmoniously to guarantee the party’s success at the polls.
Speaking in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State, Ganduje addressed party supporters on Friday during the inauguration of the National APC Campaign Council for the party’s governorship candidate, Chief Timipre Sylva. This council is chaired by the Governor of Gombe State, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya.
Ganduje emphasized that Chief Timipre Sylva, with his prior experience as a former governor and minister, possesses an in-depth understanding of government operations. He believes Sylva is well-equipped to provide the state with the leadership it requires to foster development.
He also issued a call to action for the campaign council, urging them to maintain discipline and unwavering focus to secure victory in the election. Ganduje emphasized the party’s commitment to winning the election and ensuring that Bayelsa is governed by the APC following the election.
