The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has taken a significant step towards enhancing research and development in Nigerian universities by inaugurating an ad hoc committee tasked with establishing central multipurpose laboratories in selected higher institutions across the country. The inauguration ceremony, which took place in Abuja on Monday, was presided over by the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Sonny Echono.
Echono emphasized the importance of this initiative, noting that it aligns with TETFund’s mission to provide essential infrastructure to support research activities. He stressed the pivotal role of innovative research and its commercialization in driving economic growth and prosperity globally.
