Suspected armed robbers raided an Abuja Life Camp Estate on Sunday night, killing and maiming residents. According to reports, thieves in huge numbers barricaded the road leading to Brains and Hammers Estate in Abuja’s Life Camp area.
A resident of the region who spoke to the Abuja City Journal corroborated the incident.
“Yes, robbers are presently operating at the first bend after Paradise [Estate] on your way to brains and hammers over 20 armed men they have blocked the road and are maiming and killing people. They are armed with guns and cutlass,” said a resident.
Residents have expressed their concerns about the safety of their community and have called for more attention and aggressive security measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
