Sandro Tonali has completed a £55m transfer from AC Milan to Newcastle United.
The midfielder, who has signed a five-year contract, is the first signing of the summer for Newcastle.
Manager Eddie Howe praised Tonali’s talent and experience in one of Europe’s top leagues, as well as his potential to develop further with Newcastle.
Tonali, 23, is set to bring his physicality and technical ability to St James’ Park for the upcoming season.
