Oyo Group Extols Tinubu Over Appointment of Adeleke As SCOP

The Oyo Global Forum, OGF, has described the appointment as State Chief of Protocol, SCOP, of Ambassador Victor Adekunle Adeleke as strategic and well deserved.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had on Monday named the Oyo-born career diplomat among the first three presidential aides appointed after his inauguration.
The OGF, the umbrella body of professionals from the Oyo Federal Constituency across the world expressed delight with Amb. Adeleke's appointment, noting it as a timely, strategic, and crucial inclusion into the new administration.
A statement jointly signed by OGF's Chairman, Taiwo Hassan Adebayo and the General Secretary, Remi Adebayo noted that President Tinubu has exhibited the readiness of his government to mobilize global and domestic hospitality and sanitize his presidency with Adeleke's appointment.
'The OGF welcomes the appointment of Amb. Adekunle Adeleke as a proof of President Tinubu's commitment to hit the ground running from the first day."
While congratulating the new presidential aide, the OGF expressed confidence that the diplomat possesses requisite professional, governance, and global experience to deliver on the very important assignment to make the nation proud.
"We are confident that with his pedigrees, and decades of consistent service to fatherland as evident in his rich career in diplomacy and national service, Amb. Adeleke will creditably enrich the Tinubu's administration in line with the expertise and candour required from the occupier of that sensitive office.
"We wish our versatile lawyer and exceptional diplomat success, even as we look forward to offering all support necessary for his stewardship to the nation to be eventful."
In the same vein, the OGF commended the Oyo State Governor, Engr. 'Seyi Makinde on the recent elevation of Mr. Hakeem Toyin Salami as a Permanent Secretary in the state's civil service.
The group salutes Governor Makinde for rewarding Salami alongside other deserving civil servants whose diligence, hardwork and industry have largely contributed to deepen governance and enrich bureaucracy in the state.
"We are assured, that with his overwhelming background, Mr. Hakeem Salami will continue to offer his best service to our Dear State in the interest of impactful state bureaucracy and accountable governance," OGF said.
Similarly, the body of Oyo professionals congratulates Mr. Bimbo Kolade, who was recently reappointed as federal commissioner at the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC, by the immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari.
The OGF called on the new appointees to raise the bar in their respective roles with the objective to always make the nation and the Oyo Community proud.
