Makinde Defeats Folarin At Ladoja's Polling Unit
Incumbent Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, defeated a former governor of the state, Chief Rashidi Ladoja at his polling unit in today's governorship and House of Assembly elections held in the state.
Ladoja is rumoured to oppose the relection bid of Governor Makinde.
The result announced after voting at Ladoja's Unit 17, Ward 10 in the Ibadan North Local Government Area, revealed that Makinde of the PDP scored 98 votes to defeat Ladoja's annointed candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who scored 35 votes.
