Feyenoord Wins Eredivisie for 2022/2023 Season

Feyenoord secured their second Dutch Eredivisie title of the century with ease, defeating Go Ahead Eagles with two remaining games.

The team under Arne Slot's leadership dominated the game, scoring two goals from Oussama Idrissi and Santiago Gimenez in the first half, followed by a goal in the second half from Igor Paixao.

Celebrations erupted among players and fans in Rotterdam as they had only won one title since 1999. Feyenoord has won 16 titles, and Slot, who became coach in 2021, has been linked with the Tottenham Hotspur managerial position.

PSV was the closest competitor this season, while Ajax's game against Groningen was canceled due to fireworks being thrown onto the pitch, resulting in a third-place finish.
