Erling Haaland Wins Men Footballer of the Year Awards

The Football Writers' Association, FWA, has named Erling Haaland as the Footballer of the Year, as announced by Manchester City on their website.
Haaland's debut season has seen him score 51 goals for City in all competitions, helping them secure the Premier League's top spot, reach the FA Cup final and earn a place in the Champions League semi-finals.
Haaland won 82% of the FWA vote, defeating Arsenal players Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
The 22-year-old striker will receive the award at the FWA Footballer of the Year 75th anniversary dinner in London on May 25.
Haaland has also been named the Premier League Player of the Month for April.
City will take on Everton on Sunday in an attempt to maintain their one-point lead at the top of the table.
