#EndSARS: Families of Slain Policemen Get N60m Compensation

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has presented N60 million to families of policemen killed during the #EndSARS protest in October
He presented the cheques of N10 million each to the families on Thursday at a meeting, Gboyega Akosile, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, said
The beneficiaries are the families of late ASP Yaro Edward, Insp Ayodeji Erinfolami, Insp Aderibigbe Adegbenro, Insp Samsom Ehibor, Serg Bejide Abiodun, and Insp Igoche Cornelius
Akosile also said the governor awarded scholarships to the children of the slain cops
The #EndSARS protests turned bloody in the state as properties worth billions were destroyed. The policemen were gruesomely killed after their stations were burnt.
