Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, has advised Nigerians to get the right amount of nutrients as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

According to Ehanire, foods containing vegetables, fruits, and vitamins can help to boost immunity and resist infections.

Ehanire stated this while speaking at the Presidential Task Force (PTF) daily briefing on Thursday in Abuja.

“It may be helpful to advise that citizens should get the right nutrients to ensure their chances to build their immune and strengthen their capacity to resist infections.

“The food to eat includes; a good amount of fruits, vegetables, and vitamins.

“In conclusion, I would like to remind all of us that even though COVID-19 can present symptoms like fever similar to malaria, they are not the same.”
