Emeka Rollas, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), has taken to Instagram to make a heartfelt appeal for financial support for veteran actor Amechi Muonagor, who is currently battling kidney disease, diabetes, and stroke.<\/p>\n
In a poignant post, Rollas shared a photo from his recent visit to the ailing actor, accompanied by fellow colleagues. Despite the initial financial support extended by the AGN through the guild’s trust fund, Rollas emphasized that additional assistance is urgently needed.<\/p>\n
“Few days ago I led few of my colleagues and one of our National Patrons, High Chief Ejiamatu Nwokeabia, to check on Amechi Muonagor. He is in high spirit as witnessed by the people who accompanied me,” Rollas expressed.<\/p>\n
While acknowledging the financial aid already approved from the AGN TRUST FUND, Rollas highlighted the potential inadequacy of the support given Muonagor’s medical history in relation to the Guild’s HMO & Insurance policy. Rollas took the opportunity to appeal to young actors to enroll in the AGN HMO and Insurance programs, emphasizing the importance of collective support.<\/p>\n
