{"id":989,"date":"2023-08-02T10:58:06","date_gmt":"2023-08-02T10:58:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=989"},"modified":"2023-08-02T10:58:06","modified_gmt":"2023-08-02T10:58:06","slug":"interpol-declares-business-woman-wanted-over-alleged-n750m-fraud","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2023\/08\/02\/interpol-declares-business-woman-wanted-over-alleged-n750m-fraud\/","title":{"rendered":"Interpol Declares Business Woman Wanted Over Alleged N750m Fraud"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\u00a0International Police (Interpol) has declared a Nigerian businesswoman, Ese Cynthia Daniel, wanted over alleged an alleged N750 million fraud.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ese, it alleged, has fled to London.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to an Interpol bulletin numbered CR: 3000X\/ICPO\/ADM\/LD\/VCP\/Vol. 4\/93, seen by The Nation, the wanted notice follows a warrant of arrest issued by \u201cthe Magistrate Court of Lagos State\u201d to the Nigerian police.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It alleged that Ese, from Delta State, conspired with accomplices to fraudulently convert the sum in Lagos, between January 24, and 26, 2023.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ese, 44, is the CEO\/MD of Tillotson Energy and Logistics Company Limited; Grove Green Chemical International Limited and Pishonhead Global Limited.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bulletin reads in part: \u201cEse Cynthia Daniel, Wanted By the Nigeria Assistant Inspector-General Of Police (Interpol) Head of National Central Bureau (NCB) Abuja, Force Headquarters, Shehu Shagari Way, Abuja.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe above named person is hereby declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA warrant of arrest issued by the Magistrate Court of Lagos. She is wanted by the police for the offences of conspiracy, fraudulent conversion of funds to the tune of N750million on 24th\u201326th January, 2023 in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe suspect obtained the sum of N750million under the pretence of paying United State of America dollars but she declined and absconded to London.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShe is from Delta State, Uhorobo by tribe, Business woman, Aged 44 Years, 5 8ft Height. Medium Build, Oval Face, Long Broad Nose, Small Mouth, Thin Lips, Good Teeth. Black Eyes, Dark in Complexion, Pointed Chin, Black Hair, Small Head, High Forehead, Fraudster in Habits. Always dress in English, Home Address: Close 302, Terrace 4, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos.
