Scholars at the University of Abuja (UniAbuja) have won another\u00a0 N3 billion grants, adding to the N1 billion secured by scholars of the university in 2022.<\/p>\n
Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na\u2019Allah, said this at the university\u2019s authors and researchers\u2019 recognition and award ceremony which took place at the main campus of the institution in Abuja.<\/p>\n
Na\u2019Allah, who expressed delight over the uncommon success recorded by the institution since the establishment of UniAbuja Centre for Sponsored Projects (CSP) in 2020, commended the award-winning lecturers for living up to expectations by winning several grants from within and outside the shores of the country.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou have made your university very proud. Thank you so much. I cannot even imagine the responses we have received. In the first year, with all the struggles and push, we ended up having N300 million grants and we celebrated it.<\/p>\n
\u201dThe next time, we continued to move up and up. Last year it was more than N1 billion, and this year, we have more than N3 billion ; almost N4 billion.<\/p>\n
