Recent reports revealed that the President was accompanied by this sizable contingent to the UAE event, sparking widespread anger across the nation. Nigerians expressed frustration, accusing the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government of insensitivity to the country’s challenges.<\/p>\n
In response, the PDP, through its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, issued a statement on Sunday. The party asserted that this development further supports the perception that “the Tinubu-led APC administration is wasteful, frivolous, and reckless in the application of the scarce resources of the nation, especially at a time when Nigerians are yearning for prudent management of resources to achieve the desired infrastructural regeneration, job creation, and economic revamping.”<\/p>\n
The main opposition party raised critical questions about why a country, grappling with citizens unable to afford necessities, would willingly expend its resources and scarce foreign exchange in such a lavish manner.
