The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has officially banned the use of ‘Ghana Must Go’ sacks by passengers at all airports in the country, with a particular emphasis on international airports.<\/p>\n

A circular titled ‘Re: Prohibition of Usage Of Ghana Must Go,’ signed by Henok Gizachew, Manager of Airport Services, outlined the ban. The authority cited significant losses to airlines and damage to airport conveyor belt systems as the primary reasons for the prohibition.<\/p>\n

Passengers intending to use ‘Ghana Must Go’ bags for travel are now required to have them well-packaged in cartons or hardcovers of rectangular size, as stated by Gizachew.<\/p>\n

The decision to ban these bags comes in response to the reported breakdown of conveyor belt systems at various Nigerian airports, incurring substantial costs for the airport authority.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
