He said terrorism, banditry and other violent crimes must be decisively confronted to enable meaningful progress.<\/p>\n<p>The President noted that insecurity discourages investment, disrupts livelihoods and slows development, assuring Nigerians that his administration will continue to strengthen the country\u2019s security architecture and support security agencies to restore peace in affected areas.<\/p>\n<p>He described terrorism and banditry as alien to Nigeria\u2019s values and stressed the need for stronger cooperation between the Federal Government and state governments to address security threats.<\/p>\n<p>The NEC meeting, chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima, brought together governors, ministers and other stakeholders to align development plans, with security identified as central to achieving sustainable growth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Olokuta Rofiat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has vowed to intensify efforts to tackle Nigeria\u2019s security challenges, describing insecurity as a major obstacle to national growth and economic stability.
