PDP remains a formidable political force despite its challenges. It is too strong, and we must capitalise on what we have,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the party\u2019s internal crisis and ongoing legal battles, Wike said his priority was the survival and stability of the PDP nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>He welcomed peace moves by the Board of Trustees and party leaders but warned members to stay alert to forces seeking to destabilise the party.<\/p>\n<p>The minister expressed confidence that attempts to take over the party across the states would fail, noting that the PDP has experienced leaders and officers capable of managing its challenges.<\/p>\n<p>He called on NEC members to remain committed to strengthening the party and said the conduct of overdue congresses would be critical to organising a credible national convention.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as a formidable political force, insisting it should not be treated as a charity organisation.
