The release of the Certified True Copies provides clarity on what was lawfully passed,\u201d Agbese said.<\/p>\n<p>The minority caucus, chaired by Afam Ogene, had alleged discrepancies between the Acts passed and the gazetted copies, suggesting possible alterations to the Nigeria Tax Administration Act, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Agbese added that the Speaker had ordered internal verification to ensure only authentic versions circulate, underscoring the House leadership\u2019s commitment to transparency, due process, and protecting the legislature\u2019s constitutional role.<\/p>\n<p>He said the corrective measures had settled the matter and assured Nigerians that the released Acts reflect the correct and lawful tax reforms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata The Deputy Spokesman of the House of Representatives, Philip Agbese, has described the minority caucus interim report on alleged alterations to tax reform laws as belated, noting that the issues raised had already been resolved.
