The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of the sale of application forms for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) for the 2026\/2027 academic session.
\nThe announcement was made in a photostatement signed by JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, and shared on the Board\u2019s official X handle on Tuesday.
\nJAMB stated that candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, to be eligible for admission. Underage candidates may be considered only after a rigorous evaluation and must score at least 80 per cent across required assessments.
\nUTME registration will run from January 26 to February 28, 2026, while e-PIN vending begins January 19 and ends February 26, 2026. The 2026 UTME examination is scheduled for April 16 to 25, with the optional Mock-UTME holding on March 28.
\nFor Direct Entry, sales and registration will take place from March 2 to April 25, 2026, exclusively at JAMB State and Zonal Offices.
