MultiChoice Nigeria has appointed Kemi Omotosho as its new Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect.
\nThe company announced the appointment in a statement issued on Tuesday in Lagos, noting that Omotosho emerged after the completion of internal processes and approvals by the MultiChoice Group.
\nOmotosho, a long-time executive within the MultiChoice system, brings extensive experience in media, corporate strategy and business management. She previously held senior leadership roles where she helped drive operational efficiency, content strategy and stakeholder engagement.
\nMultiChoice Nigeria described her as a results-driven executive with strong knowledge of the Nigerian market and the African pay-television landscape, expressing confidence in her ability to advance innovation, customer satisfaction and local content development.
\nReacting to her appointment, Omotosho said she was honoured to lead the company at a time of rapid change in the media and entertainment industry, pledging continued focus on value delivery, creative industry support and collaboration with stakeholders.
