{"id":81294,"date":"2026-01-08T10:59:31","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T10:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=81294"},"modified":"2026-01-08T10:59:31","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T10:59:31","slug":"bauchi-man-in-police-net-for-defiling-eight-year-old-daughter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2026\/01\/08\/bauchi-man-in-police-net-for-defiling-eight-year-old-daughter\/","title":{"rendered":"Bauchi Man In Police Net For\u00a0 Defiling Eight-Year-Old Daughter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Patrick Idowu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Nigeria Police Force, Bauchi State Police Command, has disclosed the arrest of a 28-year-old man for criminal intimidation, assault, and raping his 8-year-old biological daughter.<\/p>\n<p>This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the command\u2019s Police Public Relations Officer, Nafiu Habib.<\/p>\n<p>Habib explained that: \u201cOn 31\/12\/2025 one Baffa\u2019ji Muhammed \u2018m\u2019 reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Alkaleri, that on 30\/12\/2025 at about 1830hrs, one Baffa\u2019ji Abba \u2018m\u2019 aged 28yrs (same address as the complainant), lured his biological daughter (name withheld), aged 8yrs, into a bathroom and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her through both her vagina and anus about five times in a single day against her will.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn receipt of the report, a team of detectives led by CSP Kadiri Danjuma, DPO Alkaleri, swiftly visited the scene, moved the victim to General Hospital Alkaleri for immediate medical attention, and arrested the suspect<\/p>\n<p>The PPRO revealed that, during interrogation, the suspect willingly confessed to the crime without much ado.<\/p>\n<p>He said the Commissioner of Police, Bauchi State Command, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, had ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department to conduct a discreet and diligent investigation-based evidence gathering to explore the intricacies associated with the case.<\/p>\n<p>Habib said the suspect would eventually be profiled and charged in court for the established offences<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Patrick Idowu The Nigeria Police Force, Bauchi State Police Command, has disclosed the arrest of a 28-year-old man for criminal intimidation, assault, and raping his 8-year-old biological daughter.
