{"id":79903,"date":"2025-12-09T14:16:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T14:16:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/?p=79903"},"modified":"2025-12-09T14:16:51","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T14:16:51","slug":"apc-urges-patience-supports-security-agencies-in-rescue-efforts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abujacityjournal.com\/livenews\/2025\/12\/09\/apc-urges-patience-supports-security-agencies-in-rescue-efforts\/","title":{"rendered":"APC Urges Patience, Supports Security Agencies in Rescue Efforts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on Nigerians to support security agencies as they work to rescue abducted schoolchildren and address rising insecurity.<\/p>\n<p>APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the safety of the victims is the government\u2019s top priority.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Channels Television, Morka stressed that rescue operations involving minors require caution, warning that aggressive tactics could endanger the children.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the public to understand the complexities of such missions and commended security personnel for risking their lives to dismantle criminal networks.<\/p>\n<p>Morka also expressed confidence that the perpetrators of recent kidnappings and violent crimes would be arrested and prosecuted.<\/p>\n<p>The appeal follows the rescue of 100 schoolchildren abducted from St. Mary\u2019s Catholic Primary and Secondary School, Papiri, Agwara LGA, Niger State.
