Former presidential aide Reno Omokri says his nomination as an ambassador-designate by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has deepened his understanding of forgiveness and national unity.<\/p>\n
In a statement on Sunday via X, Omokri thanked God, his family, and Tinubu, calling the gesture a reflection of the president\u2019s reconciliatory leadership.<\/p>\n
\u201cI thank God for this nomination and look forward to serving my fatherland and humanity. I am particularly grateful to President Tinubu for his visionary leadership,\u201d he said, adding that the president has reshaped his views on patriotism, grace, and humility in public service.<\/p>\n
Omokri described Tinubu as \u201cthe right man, at the right time, for the right job\u201d and praised National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu for his integrity.<\/p>\n
He also acknowledged his wife, Hana, for her steadfast support during politically challenging times.<\/p>\n
