Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has claimed the CAF Women\u2019s Goalkeeper of the Year award for the third straight year, reinforcing her dominance in African football.<\/p>\n
Nnadozie, who plays for Brentford FC in England, beat South Africa\u2019s Andile Dlamini and Morocco\u2019s Khadija Er-Rmichi at the CAF Awards in Morocco.<\/p>\n
However, her compatriot Rasheedat Ajibade missed out on the Women\u2019s Footballer of the Year award, which went to Morocco\u2019s Ghizlane Chebbak of Al Hilal.<\/p>\n
In the men\u2019s category, Morocco\u2019s Achraf Hakimi of Paris Saint-Germain won African Player of the Year, ending Nigeria\u2019s two-year hold on the award previously won by Victor Osimhen (2023) and Ademola Lookman (2024).<\/p>\n
Hakimi enjoyed a historic season, helping PSG secure Ligue 1, Champions League, Coupe de France, and Troph\u00e9e des Champions, and placing sixth in the 2025 Ballon d\u2019Or.<\/p>\n
Other notable awards included Morocco\u2019s Doha El Madani as Women\u2019s Young Player of the Year, Senegal\u2019s Lamine Camara as Men\u2019s Young Player of the Year, and Cape Verde as Men\u2019s National Team of the Year.<\/p>\n
