The fourth edition of the Chaingang Mountain Bike (MTB) Festival will take place in Abuja on November 22, offering a full day of outdoor racing and community activities.<\/p>\n
In a statement on Tuesday, organisers said the festival will take riders, runners and hikers through Abuja\u2019s rugged mountain terrain under the theme \u201cBe Ya Nu Abuja Pe (Let\u2019s Go to Abuja Mountains).\u201d<\/p>\n
The men\u2019s MTB race will cover 42km, while the women\u2019s event will span 35km. Runners will compete in a 20km trail race, and hikers will embark on a 6km trek to the Mpape crushed rocks.<\/p>\n
VIP and children\u2019s races will hold at Junior Secondary School, Mpape, the start and finish point for all categories.<\/p>\n
Organisers described the terrain as \u201cquintessential Abuja\u201d, featuring gravel tracks, steep climbs and rocky obstacles. Safety marshals, medical teams and route signage will be deployed across all trails.<\/p>\n
