The court, presided over by Justice Inyang Ekwo, issued the order following an application filed by Joshua Musa, SAN.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit was brought by two PDP members, Geoffrey Ihentuge and Apollo\u2019s Godspower, naming the PDP, Umar Aliyu Damagun (acting National Chairman), and the National Executive Committee (NEC) as the first to third defendants. The National Working Committee (NWC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are also included as the fourth and fifth defendants.<\/p>\n<p>The plaintiffs sought an interim injunction to prevent the defendants from carrying out the alleged threat to remove Senator Anyanwu as the national secretary, emphasizing a violation of Article 47 (1) of the PDP Constitution (as revised in 2017).
