The addition expands the airline\u2019s UK network to three destinations, complementing its Lagos-London Gatwick service.<\/p>\n<p>The move follows the August arrival of a Boeing 777-200ER, increasing its wide-body fleet to four and strengthening its position in the competitive London market.<\/p>\n<p>Since its founding in 2014 with seven aircraft, Air Peace has grown to over 38 aircraft serving 20 domestic and 10 regional and international destinations.<\/p>\n<p>The airline also plans direct flights from Lagos to S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil, and to Antigua and Barbuda from December 21.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman\/CEO Allen Ifechukwu Onyema said the new Lagos-Brazil route will cut travel time to seven and a half hours.<\/p>\n<p>Air Peace, known for its evacuation missions and COVID-19 humanitarian flights, recently launched a Graduate Trainee Programme to create 1,000 jobs for Nigerian youths.<\/p>\n<p>With consistent expansion and commitment to national service, Air Peace continues to stand out as a symbol of resilience in Nigeria\u2019s aviation sector.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Sarah Sam Adda &nbsp; Nigeria\u2019s flag carrier, Air Peace, is celebrating its 11th anniversary with the launch of new Abuja-London Heathrow and Abuja-London Gatwick routes starting October 26, 2025.
