Scheduled maintenance at two major sites also contributed to the drop.<\/p>\n<p>NUPRC spokesperson Eniola Akinkuotu said average crude production, excluding condensates, stood at 1.39 million bpd-below Nigeria\u2019s OPEC quota of 1.5 million bpd.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the month-on-month fall, total crude and condensate output rose 1.6% year-on-year to 47.43 million barrels in September.<\/p>\n<p>Forcados Blend accounted for the highest share of production at 15.9%, followed by Bonny Light (13.3%) and Qua Iboe (9.9%).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Onyeanya Ebere Immaculata &nbsp; Nigeria\u2019s crude oil production fell by 3% in September 2025, dropping to 1.58 million barrels per day (bpd), from 1.63 million bpd in August, according to the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
